LXF Online Newsletters

Each month, just before the latest issue of the magazine hits the shelves, Linux Format Online emails out Newsletters to signed-up members of this website. It's a great way to keep track of what's going on in the world of LXF, and the Linux community in general. You get:

  • Previews of upcoming issues
  • Sample articles from the mag
  • A roundup of the month's news
  • Highlights from the LXF Forums
  • Links to archive PDFs
  • Special Newsletter-only features

...and more. Best of all, it's free! We post old Newsletters in the Archive forum -- take a look to see what we've covered before.

To sign up, log in to this site, visit the forums and click the Usergroups link at the top. There you can join the Newsletter group -- you'll receive the next edition when it's sent out. See below for a guide.

Unsubscribing is as simple as removing yourself from the Newsletter group. If you have any questions about subscribing, or suggestions for the Newsletter, email Mike Saunders.

1 - Click the Forums link in the top-left menu bar (you may need to log in).

2 - Click on Usergroups in the top bar.

3 - Select the Newsletter group from the list and click the View Information button.

4 - Then click Join Group and you'll be signed up!

"If you need more than 3 levels of indentation, you're screwed anyway, and should fix your program."
