Frequently asked questions

1. What is this site?

Linux users around the world described their ideal software that doesn't yet exist on Linux. We're now at the voting stage: anyone can vote for their most-wanted programs, and the highest-rated entry by May 2nd will be written in Mono (and released as open source)! Also, the authors of the top-30 most popular entries will receive Mono T-shirts from Novell.

2. Why can't I vote?

You should be able to click 'Vote for this' buttons at the top of entries. If you've never voted but all you see is 'Already voted' signs, it means that someone else on your computer (or who was using your IP address) has already voted. If, for instance, you share your outgoing IP address with other users, their votes may block you from adding yours. This does, however, help us to prevent people from rigging the system.

3. Help! I have a problem.

Wait, that's not a question... But if something goes wrong, just email the site administrator, Mike Saunders, at mike.saunders@futurenet.co.uk.
