What do you call your front room?

Postby Alex01UK » Fri Dec 13, 2013 6:09 pm

Me, I always say front room, which does my Mums head in, as in their house, their front room is at the rear of the house. Our lass calls my front room the computer room, cos of all the computer monitors. At my last house, I had my computers in the ''bedroom'' cos that's where my BT socket was, and my bed and tv in the ''front'' room....

my front room is my front room. it has a tv and couch in it and it is a child-friendly room. My lounge is at the back of the house. My parents called theirs the front room and it was indeed at the front :) Funny question... but I get what you mean. If I didn't have a front room my lounge would be the front room even if it was at the back of the house. jeez my head is spinning now :)

The Dining room, because that's at the front of the house, and it's where we eat.
The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

In our house I refer to it as their room (meaning the wife and kids). I've been kicked out of the room as the kid's toys are more important than my computer????

My room is the space under the stairs. Which she calls "The Command Centre". I call it my Lair.
So it looks like I'm back to LinuxMint again. Why you ask? Because my machine smell nicer.

I'm not too sure I'd want a Mint and Cinnamon muffin with my brew though. Guess I'm lucky they don't run my local bakery.

Wouldn't it have been easier to move the socket than move a bed etc? Ooops, not supposed to touch the BT master socket, but you could do an extension.
